The heart of The Real Songwriters of Melbourne is our Community.

Our Community features songwriters of all ages, genres, genders, backgrounds and experience levels and we are proud that our Community has welcomed hundreds of songwriters across metro Melbourne, regional Victoria, interstate and overseas.

RSOM Celebrate is our chance to celebrate the diversity, growth and talent within our community as well as acknowledge songwriters in our community who not only are making a mark within their own careers, but who are making an impact in the live music industry.

PRESENTING THE 2023 RSOM AWARDS

With the addition of a brand new category, you can now place your vote for the following categories.

• RSOM Community Award - Awarded to an active member of the RSOM Community who embodies the spirit of the RSOM Community by continuously showing support towards other songwriters.

• RSOM Outstanding Achievement Award - Awarded to a active member of the RSOM Community who has demonstrated growth and excellence in the RSOM Artist Mentoring program including our signature program, The Release Academy. This award is not available for public vote.

• RSOM Top 5 Songs of the Year - The top five songs as voted by the Community as chosen from our ‘2023, I’m Free’ Spotify playlist.

• *NEW* RSOM Songwriter of the Year 🎤🎤 - Awarded to an active member of the RSOM Community who has displayed exceptional talent and growth over the last 12 months and who has made an impact in the wider community.

Please note: The RSOM Hall of Fame Award will not be awarded this year.
